The Integrative Approach
I believe in a comprehensive approach to coaching and healing. My practice merges science-based research, visionary exercises, embodiment practices, skill-building, and depth psychological wisdom. This integrative model ensures that each session is tailored specifically to what you need most. We take a non-pathologizing approach, emphasizing that there is nothing inherently wrong with you. Often, parts of us just need to be understood and heard to shift into more comfortable and useful roles. Whether in person or through video chat, our 1-on-1 coaching sessions focus on empowering you to harness your inner resources to take action in alignment with your values and goals.
Below you will find more details on two methods I utilize in coaching depending on what you need and feel comfortable with. Both help to alleviate emotional pain, reduce stress and release energy so you can focus on what really matters to you.
Whole-Person Coaching
- Best for clients new to talk therapy models and meditation and would like support in creating achievable change that boosts mental and emotional health
- Typical duration is 6-12 sessions, starting once a week and then going to every other week
- We will get clear on an achievable process-oriented goal to improve your emotional and mental health
- I use many techniques from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and mindfulness techniques that involve mind, body, and spirit
- In-between session practice is required to a level we decide together in session, specifically tailored to what will support you in your wellness goal. (Examples are mindfulness practices in key moments, physical actions to support change, journal exercises, videos to watch). Sometimes, this involves messaging me in between sessions.
Deep Healing
- Best for clients who have a history of trauma or childhood adverse experiences and/or want to get to the root of their behavioral/ emotional problems
- Typical duration is different for every person. It could be 12 sessions, or it could be over a year
- You can have a vague idea of what you want to get out of care, but you know the way you are managing your emotional or mental health is not working, and things have to change
- I mostly use the IFS model (internal family systems)—an integrative mind-body approach to healing—which brings systems theory, spirituality, and trauma healing together to support you in healing, caring for, and leading yourself.
- In-between session practice is light but not required. We decide what is best in session. Some examples are noticing a specific behavior, emotion, or thought in critical moments and doing a physical activity for your health

In our first coaching session, we will discuss expectations and logistics, and co-create a process-oriented coaching goal for our work together. We will also clarify the ways I can best support you throughout the process.
